Crispy, golden wontons filled with creamy strawberry cheesecake, deep-fried to perfection. A fun, easy, and irresistible dessert treat!


Ingredients

  • 10 wonton wrappers
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam or fresh strawberries, chopped
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy cream until smooth and well combined.
  • Place a small spoonful of the cheesecake mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper. Top with a teaspoon of strawberry jam or chopped strawberries.
  • Wet the edges of the wonton wrapper with a bit of water, fold the wrapper into a triangle or rectangle, and press the edges to seal tightly.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot over medium heat to 350°F (175°C).
  • Carefully fry the stuffed wontons for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove the wontons from the oil and drain them on paper towels.
  • Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
